[diy] de-colourised buttons

 beautiful buttons

 very very old decolourised buttons.

materials:
1. old decolourised buttons
2. nail polish(s)
3. rough paper
4. tooth picks
5. old unwanted (scrub) sponge

my good'o nail polish, that i never use to paint my nails.

step1. using a toothpick, hold your button down, and paint using nail polish.

tip:  its best to hold your button at an angle to stop it from moving together with your brush strokes.

 let dry
tip: do it in a well ventilated room. nail polish stinks, and breathing too much of it damages your brain.

step 2. once its dry, pick it up with a toothpick like this, and paint the sides and reverse side.
you might need to do a coat or 2, depending on how intense your polish colours are.

step3. once done, poke it like this into an unwanted sponge, and let dry.

 done!

i used one of the painted buttons here as my shoes' decoration.
simple.

hope you have a great sunday afternoon!
