[diy] transformation gold on blue

i have been reading too many diy blogs 

and i want to try my hands on them immediately after exam's over. 

so i found this bag, given to me by mingshi, 

and i decided that i should experiment with it. 

here's the original bag. 

 the bag after i sprayed fabric paint over it. 

 i stuff newspaper inside the bag so that i can puff it up to spray the sides. 

 because i used up the entire bottle of blue spray, 

i matched gold at the bottom. 

my dad commented that its unique. 

 here's the end product. 

i stuck a 'crystal' stone to the button of the bag. 

i sort of hand painted them with nail polish. 

first a layer of glitter nail polish, then a layer of coloured nail polish. 

i used super glue to stick it on. 

 here's the 'true' colour of the bag. 

i would suggest hanging the bag outside overnight to get rid of the spray smell. 

 hauls of the day: fabric spray paint!!!!
