recollections of 2012

i got this inspiration while reading 'A Beautiful Mess' so here i am going to write a short recollection of every month in 2012. as much as i hope i have photos to sum each month up, unfortunately i dont have. so please bear with the wordy post. 

JANUARY:

i took on the challenge of taking a full law module with fellow year 1 law students. i took law of torts under Prof Gary Chan

FEBRUARY: 

feb the 3rd marks exactly a year since i flew to russia for my exchange programme. last last year this time, it was the midnight of Chinese new year, i left my family, my friends, my sweet love here, and took adventure in russia. 

MARCH:

nothing special happened during this month, except for my sweet love's birthday

APRIL:

i finished my last exam in my education life. it all ended with law of torts again. it was the only semester i sat for 2 exams, and got my very first A for my political science module - human rights. how i love that. 

MAY:

the 6th marks our 2nd year together. my sweet love graduated from senior officer school and we attend his graduation ceremony and mess together with his father. 

JUNE:

i had the best birthday (apart from my surprise 21st from my sweet love.) in my 23 years of life. it was like my 21st again. my sweet love spent 3 weeks in Nepal  our relationship was brought to the test again, but we pulled through. 

JULY:

i attended commencement 2012 on 25th. i finally graduated from university. school of social sciences was the faculty in charged of the opening ceremony. for once, i had tears in my eyes during such an event. 

i found my first job with an MNC.

AUGUST :

i struggled with work so badly, i had a hard time. sweet love was into his real job after graduation from senior officer training school. i was voted the new chairperson of youth fellowship.

SEPTEMBER:

i quit my first job. 

OCTOBER:

i found a few job. i started a short term contract position with PMO. 

NOVEMBER:

i attended the first wedding together with my sweet love as 'part' of his family. i signed away 1 year of my life with a new statutory board. 

DECEMBER:

he proposed to me, and we pledge to love each other till the end of times. 

for all these that had happened, i only have 1 word to say, i'm grateful. be it the ups and downs, i am grateful because God never fails and He has been very gracious to me.
