[diy] inspirational cork board

 materials you will need:

1. cork boards

2. cork coasters

3. lace stickers (for scrap-booking)

4. scissors

5. mini nails and hammer

 

first, place the cork boards and coasters on your bed and play with the arrangement until you are satisfied. remember to take photos of the various arrangement you have. they will come in handy later when you refer to them as you proceed on to nail them to the wall. 

 next, get your lace stickers ready, cut them at various lengths and place them where you want them to be. check that you like it, then proceed to stick them on. be sure not to remove all the backing immediately, do it like how i show you in the photo.  

 here's my eventual result. it still looks a little plain, so i went on to add black laces to the coaster mini boards. 

 thats the end product for the time being. 

 using the centre largest piece as the main guiding board, nail it to the wall where you like your inspirational board to be. then nail on the remaining boards with reference to this board. 

 done! i just have to pin inspirational stuff on!
