Се́ргиев Поса́д

Се́ргиев Поса́д - 3rd day in Moscow
we decided to make our maiden trip into Sergiev Posad, a district in Moscow Oblast,

background information:
Sergiyev Posad (Се́ргиев Поса́д) is a city and the administrative centre of Sergiyevo-Posadsky District of Moscow Oblast, Russia. It grew in the 15th century around one of the greatest of Russian monasteries, the Trinity Lavra established by St. Sergius of Radonezh. The town status was granted to it in 1742. As the town's name, alluding to St. Sergius, had strong religious connotations, the Soviet authorities changed first to just Sergiyev in 1919, and then to Zagorsk in 1930, in memory of the revolutionary Vladimir Zagorsky. The original name was restored in 1991. like advertising any other merchandise.

sorry for my lack of captions,
because blogger's such a sucker,
it uploaded my photos in various sizes and i had to resize almost all of them,
and after doing so, i realised my photos are all jumbled up,
so i had to remove some photos or else the flow does'nt make sense.
i'm so sorry, i wanted to add more background information to this post,
but i'm really tired now,
so i hope i'll add those information in soon when i am more free.

hope you enjoyed it still despite the lack of words.
