more than expected

probably this will be the last time i am waiting anxiously for my results to be released. 

today, i met my friends for a short catch up, and i was told by one of my friends that the result for a particular module was already out on our e-learning portal last week. well, i casually made this comment that sometimes, we fear so badly that we might fail the module, we pray to God for a mere pass and said we will be happy with just that. then, when the results are released, and a grade is given higher than pass, we ask God, why dint the Prof give us a higher grade? and when a higher than expected grade is sometimes given, we then ask again, why cant the Professor give me an 'A/A+'? 

well, humans are like this, we are never satisfied with what we are given, even if God did answer our prayer and gave us a grade better than what we asked for, we only demand for more. arent we taught by our parents to say 'Thank you' when someone gives you something? why arent we thanking God then?

well, i am grateful. though others might see it as a 'bad' grade, but i honestly believe God gave me the best, or rather the highest  possible grade that i could obtain. so i have no qualms about it, only gratefulness!
