before i forget that my Ho Chi Minh trip was not 3 days but 4, let me hurry blog about it. but before i talk about the last day in HCMc, i gotta run to meet Jovena, else she will be really angry if i am late. will be back soon to talk about HCMc soon!!!

so hort park was great. had a super fun time with Jovena, but i have not forgotten about updating my trip to HCMc.

the last day in HCMc was free and easy. that is to say our official HCMc tour ended yesterday and today we are free on our own to explore the city even more.

in our desperate attempt to shop for more traditional Vietnamese souvenirs, we ventured out in search of An Dong Market. but to our greatest disappointment, it was just like our Bugis street, selling goods that can be easily found here );

after which, we went in search of KFC - to taste Vietnamese chicken. dad said its just as bad as Singapore's one or maybe even worse );

finally we were packed off to the airport, and there my mother and i scouted the ENTIRE airport looking for things to buy. not very successful though, but still managed to do some last minute shopping. since we dint eat much in the afternoon, dad suggested that we go fill our tummy at this Singaporean delight restaurant. we ordered chicken rice and laska... awwwwwwwww cannot be compared to our local ones!

so that marked the end of our 4 days 3 night Ho Chi Minh tour! (;
