yesterday my long time jc friends came down to my place for a little chill out, chit chat session. here's a photo taken by my friend while we were enjoying the jacuzzi pool at my place.
i am in this transition phase of life, from graduation, to finding a job that suits me. so i thought i should share with you how i keep myself busy while hunting down the potentially right one.
so school has ended for me since late April, and since then, i have embarked on a project. i call it the library project; that is, i spend most of my time trying to revamp the church library, reopening it so that little kids can spend time in there and read. apart from that, i am also involved in programmes planning for the 16th church retreat that has just passed, so i was pretty busy with it trying to make sure every little detail was looked into and that it will run smoothly. while doing this, i applied for jobs, and went for a number of interviews in the middle. well, of course, that doesnt take up all my time. when i am free, i catch up with my friends, go out cafe hunting or shopping with them, but most importantly, i try to spend as much time as i can with my boyfriend before he leaves for training overseas. aww i really miss him loads. ok, i forgot to mention this, but i too try to spend more time at home with my parents, and resting to get back all the sleep that i've missed during the semester.
probably, something that might interest you is that i've gotten a freelance job. someone cracked a joke on me and said: 'freelance, freelance, later you become free all the time'. well, i am perfectly fine with this job because i can work from home writing legal commentaries, why not? anyway, it has always been my passion, and probably is a good playing card to help me get back to school say maybe 2 or 3 years down the road.
last, there is endless blogging that i do nowadays, and i really love the idea of making diy crafts and sharing it with you. so if you like it, follow my blog. i've decided to change my blog name and url altogether so that now it feels more personal and easier for you to remember my blog address.
well, thats it for now. i'll keep ya all updated if i've any progression to the next phase of life. in the meantime, do everything in joy! dont waste your life away!
