DIY Table Planners
clean and sleek, no extra flaps and humps on your table.
so cheap, its almost free!
regular table planners that are easily available at book stores.
usually, they only last for a year,
unless you gave up using it along the way,
or decide to recycle the backing after the year has ended.
well, i always find them too huge and bulky for my table.
i have a small room and a very slim table at 180cm by 40cm.
so they take up too much space.
here's the alternative!
get 1 plastic pocket holder.
a used one will do just fine.
steps:
1. cut off the white portion of the pocket holder, including the 'dotted line' that seals it.
or, you can slit open the opposite end of the folder, and cut the white portion off but keeping the 'dotted line'
(i think the second is a better option, it holds all the stuff together better)

2. cut/slit open the width of your folder.
3. now your folder will open up like a book.
4. take 1 flap of the folder, cut it to about 1 inch width.
5. stick double sided tapes along the length and widths of this 1 inch flap. (see picture below)
6. wipe the portion of your table that you want to stick the folder on,
7. remove the protective layer of the double sided tap and stick folder onto your table.
after you are done with all the steps stated above,
your end result should look like this.
the longer/bigger flap of the folder should not be stuck to the table.
you should be able to flip them.
now you can store stickers in them.
print out calendar printable that you have found online,
place them on top of your stickers.
here, i place my revision schedule over that monthly schedule.
but if you prefer to draw out your own monthly schedule,
you can do it like how i did my revision schedule.
here, i 'inserted' pieces of paper to remind myself of things that i have to do.
once you are done,
flip the free flap of the folder to cover it as a protection.
now you are done!
no spills or fuss, it keeps all your stuff clean and pretty even after a month's use.
as and when you need to add notes or other stuff to your planner,
just flip the protective cover over and make any additions you need,
you can reuse it over and over again.
since its A4 size and never goes out of date.
the best part,
it also doubles up as a mouse pad!
i hope the instructions aren't too confusing!
hope you found it useful!
