in life...
there are several chapters
each special in its unique way

every phase of life's story...
we find ourselves standing
at life's crossroads...

i too had my fair share of
the sweet and sour that life
has its piece for me...

i've always wondered in the blues
of the days and months ago...
what to do?
what to be?
who am i?

now i think i know...

how meaningful can life get...if...
if all you chase after is money,
if all you desire is fame,
if all you slogged for is power,
if all you lived was for yourself,
if all you cared was your desires,
if all you saw was hatred
if all your words were to hurt
if all your actions were to harm
if all you did were out of obligation
if...if...if...
the list never ends...

but...
life can only be all that meaningful...
if you lived each day loving and caring
each needy soul the way Jesus did,
if you lived your day learning how to
love like Jesus
if you lived your days learning how to
serve like Jesus
if you lived your days learning how to
be salt and light to the world like Jesus...
